§ 31.017 COMPENSATION.
   (A)   (1)   The Mayor shall receive an annual compensation as determined by the City Council from time to time.
      (2)   This compensation shall be established pursuant to the provisions of state law.
   (B)   The Mayor shall have the right to purchase, at his or her cost, health/medical insurance coverage for the Mayor and his or her family through the city’s health/medical plan at the same rates as the city pays into the plan if the Mayor works at least 30 hours per week.
   (C)   Each Mayor shall receive an annual compensation of $24,000 effective 5-1-2001.
