The purpose of this subchapter is to provide a fair and efficient method of determining the eligibility of an employee for the benefits enumerated under the Public Safety Employee Benefits Act (PSEBA) (ILCS Ch. 820, Act 320, §§ 1 et seq.), through the process of an administrative hearing. All benefits provided employees pursuant to the Public Safety Employee Benefits Act (Act) will be consistent with the Act.
