§ 158.005 RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER PROVISIONS OF THE CODE.
   (A)   Cross-references.
      (1)   The use of buildings and land within the city is subject to all other applicable provisions of the city’s code of ordinances as well as this chapter, whether or not the other provisions of the city’s code of ordinances are specifically cross-referenced in this chapter.
      (2)   Cross-references to other provisions of the code in this chapter are for the convenience of the reader, and lack of a cross-reference should not be construed as an indication that other provisions of the city’s code of ordinances do not apply.
   (B)   Chapter provides minimum requirements.
      (1)   The provisions of this chapter are the minimum requirements necessary for the promotion of public health, safety or the general welfare.
      (2)   Whenever this chapter requires greater restrictions than are required pursuant to any other statute or local regulation, this chapter shall govern.
