It is the purpose of this subchapter:
(A) To adopt and designate an Official Map;
(B) To adopt and designate other standards governing future development and redevelopment of the city;
(C) To adopt, establish and help implement an official Comprehensive Plan, known as the O’Fallon, Illinois 2040 Master Plan; and
(D) To provide for the filing of copies of such maps and standards in the office of the City Clerk and the Recorder of Deeds of the county for the information of the public.
