(A) General prohibition. No person who is under the age of 21 shall purchase or accept a gift of alcoholic liquor, or have alcoholic liquor in his or her possession or consume alcoholic liquor, except as specifically permitted in division (B) below.
(B) Exception. The possession, dispensing or consumption by a person under 21 years of age of alcoholic liquor in the performance of a legitimate religious service or ceremony or under the direct supervision and approval of a parent or a person standing in loco parentis of such underage person in the privacy of a private residence shall not be prohibited by this chapter.
