(A) A permit applicant must pay a non-refundable application fee in the amount of $50 payable to the city (money order, in-state business check, cashier’s check or exact change cash only). In addition, each person to whom a permit is issued shall pay an annual fee of $50 (money order, cashier’s check, in-state business check or exact change cash only).
(B) Once a permit is issued, the solicitor may annually renew the permit for the following year, by paying, to the city, a renewal fee of $50 (money order, cashier’s check, in-state business check or exact change cash only) by no later than December 31 in the year in which the permit is to expire. In addition, the solicitor shall confirm the information contained within the initial application and advise the Director of Public Safety of any changes with regard to the information. Should the solicitor fail to renew the annual permit, he or she shall be required to reapply for a new permit.
