§ 99.04 TREE REMOVAL ON PRIVATE PROPERTY; CITY AUTHORITY.
   (A)   The city shall have the power to remove or cause removal of DEAD OR DISEASED TREES on private property within the city.
   (B)   Such trees shall be defined as those that are dead, or harbor insects or disease, to such an extent that they constitute a threat to other trees or to the general health or life of persons or property, in which event the city, through the Urban Forestry Committee or a representative thereof, shall declare the tree to be a nuisance and follow the abatement procedure of § 94.03 of this chapter.
