§ 98.27 INTERFERENCE WITH STREET WORK AND THE LIKE PROHIBITED.
   Whenever any street, alley or public place is being improved under any contract with the city, it shall be unlawful for any person to destroy, injure, carry away, remove or interfere with any of the material or appliances used in or about the work, or impede, obstruct or interfere with the execution of the work, or destroy or damage any of the work or materials which may have been placed by the contractor.
