§ 34.02 OATHS OF OFFICE.

The Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police, police officers, and members of the Police Department’s staff, before entering upon their duties, shall, respectively, take an oath, before any officer authorized to administer oaths, swearing or affirming faithfully to discharge the duties of their offices.
