A massage therapist’s permit shall be valid for one year from the date of issuance unless sooner suspended or revoked. Within one month before the expiration date, the holder of a massage therapist’s permit may make application for a new permit as provided in this section; however, applicants whose fingerprints are currently on file with the Director shall not be required to provide fingerprints when applying for a new permit.
