The sound levels provided elsewhere in this subchapter shall not apply to sound emanating from a restaurant. It shall be a violation of this subchapter for a source of sound emanating from a restaurant to create a sound level during daytime in excess of 80 dBA, or during nighttime in excess of 60 dBA when measured from the boundary line of the restaurant property or any public area including, but not limited to, any public streets, docks or sidewalks.
