149.01 EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK AND DEPARTMENTAL OPERATIONAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
   (a)   Employee Handbook. City Council hereby adopts the Employee Handbook, a copy of which is on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, which handbook shall be effective on January 1, 2023 with the exception of certain longevity pay provisions, which shall be effective immediately.    (b)   Departmental Operations Policies and Procedures. Each Village Department, with the approval of the Administrator, may enact Departmental Operational Policies and Procedures. Departmental Operational Policies and Procedures shall not conflict with the Policies and Procedures set forth in the Employee Handbook.
