(a) In order to encourage economic development in the Electric Utility's service area, limited-term reductions in the price, terms and conditions of electric service may be offered by the Electric Utility to qualifying new and existing Customers.
(b) Economic Development Discounts may be available to new and existing Customers who qualify under the provisions of Schedules OB-1, OB-2 and OB-3 solely at the discretion of the Electric Utility, the Administrator and the Village of Obetz, Ohio.
(c) To receive consideration for an Economic Development Discount the Customer shall make written application to the Electric Utility with sufficient information contained therein to determine the Customer's eligibility for service.
(d) Economic Development Discounts will be applicable to new load at a new service location or new load resulting from an increase in business activity at an existing service location deemed to be beneficial to the community.
(e) The existing local facilities of the Electric Utility must be deemed adequate, in the judgment of the Electric Utility, to supply the new or expanded electrical capacity requirement of the Customer. If construction of new or expanded local facilities by the Electric Utility is required, the Customer will be required to make a Contribution in Aid of Construction for the installed cost of such facilities if the annual cost of providing such facilities plus the annual cost of delivering the energy to each local facility is greater than the estimated annual revenue under the provisions of the appropriate Schedule.
