943.03 APPLICATION FOR SERVICE.
   (a)   A copy of the Electric Service. Power Rates and Rules and the schedules applicable to the Customer's class of business will be furnished upon request at the Electric Utility's office and the Customer shall elect upon which applicable schedule the Customer desires to be served.
   (b)   Before the Electric Utility shall be required to furnish service, the Electric Utility may request that a Customer submit written specifications of electrical apparatus to be operated by service, and to furnish the Electric Utility a detailed sketch giving the location of the Customer's facilities. Such requests will be limited to specific instances where such information significantly assists the Electric Utility in designing and sizing its local facilities. The Electric Utility may also request the Customer to provide estimates of the quality and quantity of future electricity requirements. The Electric Utility shall be entitled to rely on these estimates for purposes of making plant, facility and equipment modifications as well as for securing electric power supply, delivery and financing sufficient to meet the Customer's identified needs. In the event that the Customer's actual electricity load and usage does not materialize as estimated by the Customer, the rates and charges specified in this Chapter may be adjusted by the Electric Utility so that the Electric Utility fully recovers any unavoidable cost incurred by the Electric Utility in reliance upon the Customer's estimate of future requirements.
   (c)   Written agreements will be required, before service will be commenced from each Customer with annual average demand greater than 100 Kw.
   (d)   Service hereunder shall only be available from the installed facilities of the Electric Utility. The Electric Utility does not assure a continuous and uninterrupted supply of electricity. The Electric Utility operates and maintains a delivery system and obtains it electricity from suppliers through contractual arrangements. Failed performance by such suppliers may affect the Electric Utility's ability to provide electric service and Customers that require a continuous supply of electricity assume the risk of such interruptions or curtailment of electric supply unless otherwise agreed specifically by the Electric Utility.
   (e)    When the Customer desires delivery of energy at more than one point, each delivery point will be billed separately under a schedule applicable to the Customer's class of business at such delivery point. (Ord. 14-00. Passed 4-3-00.)
