(a) Low pressure steam systems, under fifteen pounds per square inch, shall be tested at ten pounds per square inch at which pressure the system must be tight, tested for circulation of steam as to distribution in all heating elements, tested for free flow of condensate to boiler, pump or return device, and tested for proper operation of safety devices.
(b) Hot water heating systems shall be tested at operating pressure, at which pressure the system must be tight, tested for free circulation of water, as to distribution in all heating elements and tested for proper operation of safety devices.
