Land and buildings in the Neighborhood Commercial District (NC) shall be used only for the following purposes:
(a) Business and Professional Offices. Business offices carrying on no retail trade with the general public and having no stock of goods maintained for sale to customers and professional offices engaged in providing tangible and intangible services to the general public, involving both persons and their possessions including:
(1) Professional offices of physicians, dentists, other health practitioners, attorneys, engineers, architects, surveyors, and similar professional services.
(2) Offices for insurance, real estate, advertising, travel, collection, security and detective, and other similar agencies.
(3) Offices for data processing, computer programming and software, tax preparation, temporary labor supply, and other associated services.
(b) Financial Institutions. Small offices or branch offices of banks, trust companies, savings and loan companies, credit unions, consumer credit reporting agencies, finance companies, business credit institutions, securities brokers, dealers and flotation companies, commodity contracts, brokers, and dealers, holding companies, and other associated financial services.
(c) Personal Services. Barber shops, beauty shops, tailor and seamstress shops, photo studios, shoe repair shops, decoration services, funeral homes (mortuaries) and crematoriums, pressing and dry-cleaning establishments, and other similar personal services.
(d) Small Retail Shops. Retail stores primarily engaged in selling merchandise for personal or household consumption and rendering services incidental to the sale of the goods (including the buying or processing of goods for resale) including: neighborhood grocery stores, neighborhood drug stores, bakeries, fruit and vegetable markets, dairy products stores, health food stores, clothing shops, book shops, floral shops, antique shops, gift shops, art galleries, stationery stores, jewelry stores, camera stores, hobby shops, electronic products, video rental stores, eating and drinking establishments with no drive-thru window service, and other similar small retail stores.
(e) Child Daycare Center.
