The Medium Density Residential District (R-2) is provided for areas of Obetz that have a moderate residential density and land which appears appropriate for such development. The Medium Density Residential District (R-2) is intended to establish and preserve quiet and safe residential areas which are free from other uses. As the health, safety and welfare of residents in such neighborhoods is directly linked to the provision of essential services and facilities, connection to public sewer and water is required for each dwelling unit in the Medium Density Residential District (R-2).
