Whenever any electrical wiring or other electrical equipment shall have been inspected and approved, no person shall thereafter change, damage or interfere with the same without due authority of the City. No person shall thereafter place any sheet metal, pipe or other metal work within five inches of any electrical conductor, nor shall any electrical conductor be placed closer than five inches to sheet metal, pipe or other metal work in the installation of open wiring without authorization of the City. The authorization shall be granted only if proper insulative material is used in addition to wire insulation.
