6-2-7-12: INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL CONDUIT FOR REMOTE WATER METER CABLE WIRING IN NEW CONSTRUCTION:
   A.   In all new construction, a one-half inch (1/2") diameter EMT galvanized steel thin wall conduit shall be installed between the point of location of the water service meter and a location on the outside wall surface, a minimum of twelve inches (12"), but no more than eighteen inches (18") above the gas meter. Conduit bends shall be no more than six inches (6") in radius and have no more than one back to back bend. All conduit piping is to be flush with walls both inside and outside of the building. Said conduit run shall be provided with three (3) conductor bell wire, end to end, including twelve inches (12") of wire slack at each end, for the purpose of connecting the necessary conductor wire(s) by the village water department.
   B.   It shall be the responsibility of the village licensed electrical contractor to install this conduit, and such installation shall be agreed to by said contractor as a part of the application for an electrical permit. (Ords. 87-24-104, 94-3-8, 01-09-32)
