6-2-7-9: CABLES, CONDUCTORS AND CONDUITS:
   A.   Signs On Stores: On new and remodeling jobs, a three- fourths inch (3/4") conduit shall be installed to the front of stores for signs from the main distribution panel.
   B.   Nonmetallic Conduit:
      1.   All nonmetallic conduit and fittings including fiber, asbestos, soapstone, cement, rigid PVC and high density polyethylene, ABS or any other chemical compound material will be used for outside use only.
      2.   All services using the above materials will be stubbed within five feet (5') of the building and continued in rigid conduit. Inside the building, below or above grade, the service will be installed in rigid conduit or electrical metallic tubing to ensure a continuous electrical metallic ground.
      3.   No nonmetallic sheathed cable shall be used in the village.
   C.   Aluminum Conductors: No aluminum conductors shall be used in the village.
   D.   Armored Cable: Armored cable may be used only by special permission of the chief electrical inspector. (Ords. 66-23-62, 76-16-30, 78-24-60)
