When used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them:
CIRCUIT: Any set of branch lighting conductors which have been extended from a distribution center and which may be utilized for the transmission of electrical energy.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT: Conductors and other equipment installed for the utilization of electricity for light, heat or power. It does not include radio apparatus or equipment for wireless reception of sounds and signals; nor ordinary household appliances such as toasters, vacuum cleaners or washing machines; and it does not include apparatus, conductors or other equipment which are under the jurisdiction of the Illinois commerce commission, for use in their operation as public utilities.
