The international residential code for one- and two-family dwellings, 2018 edition, published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this article with the same force and effect as if it were specifically and particularly set forth herein, and all regulations contained therein, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed in section 6-1C-2 of this article, shall apply to all buildings for residential purposes. One copy of said code shall be retained on file in the office of the clerk.
Where any provision of the international residential code for one- and two-family dwellings, 2018 edition, conflict with any provisions of this village code, the provisions of the village code shall prevail and shall be applied as law of the village. (Ords. 14-04-10, 21-07-29)
