A. The enumerated commercial establishments and/or business activities listed in this section are illustrative only.
B. Square footage shall be calculated as herein defined. Total square footage applicable for the determination of the yearly regulatory fee shall include the sum total of all the floor area in use or reserved for or retained for the use of the commercial establishment or business activities, including, but not restricted to, principal and accessory floor area, cellars and basements, storage or detached accessory buildings, even though any such floor area may be temporarily vacant or not in use, and the square footage of any parking areas owned by the establishment.

The commercial establishments or business activities listed in this table may or may not have their principal place of business located within the village, but are conducting commercial activities or business activities within the village. The following business regulation fees enumerated in this section are for establishments or activities which cannot feasibly have their fees determined on a square foot basis, or are additional fees for special categories of establishments or activities.

The minimum regulatory fee schedule enumerated below shall be interpreted inclusively, and all commercial establishments or business activities not specified in Table A above, and having floor area as herein defined shall pay a yearly regulatory fee as set forth herein, except where the licensing and regulation of such commercial establishments or business activities is specifically preempted by state statutes or other authority:
