A. Permits:
1. Parades: No person shall engage in, participate in, aid, form or start any parade, unless a parade permit shall have been obtained from the President and Board of Trustees.
2. Public Assemblies: No open air public meeting, sit-in, camp-in, or demonstration of ten (10) or more persons shall be held on any public grounds in the Village until a permit in writing therefor shall first be obtained. The relevant provisions of this Chapter regarding permits or regulations of parades shall apply to open air public meetings and/or demonstrations.
B. Contents of Parade Permit: Each parade permit shall state the following information:
1. Starting time;
2. Minimum speed;
3. Maximum speed;
4. Maximum interval of space to be maintained between the units of the parade;
5. The portions of the streets to be traversed that may be occupied by the parade;
6. The maximum length of the parade in miles or fractions thereof;
7. Such other information as the Chief of Police shall find necessary to the enforcement of this Chapter. (Ords. 68-3-2, 68-12-33; 1985 Code)
