A. Divisions Created, Composition: There are hereby created the following three (3) divisions of the police department:
Detective and juvenile division
Service and training division
Uniform division
Each division shall consist of one lieutenant and such subordinates as the chief of police may determine are needed to efficiently carry on the duties and functions of the respective divisions.
B. Assignment Of Personnel To Divisions; Duties And Functions: The chief of police shall assign the respective lieutenants to each of the divisions as he may consider qualified by experience and training to properly perform the duties and functions of the respective divisions. Each division shall perform such duties and functions as may be assigned and prescribed by the chief of police. (1951 Code 3-3A; Ord. 65-21-3; 1985 Code)
