8-1-4: ADDITIONAL NUISANCE REGULATIONS:
   A.   Dust Prevention: Dust and other types of air pollution borne by the wind from such sources as storage areas, yards, roads, and the like shall be kept to a minimum by landscaping, paving, oiling, fencing, cutting of weeds or other appropriate means.
   B.   Odors: It shall be unlawful to cause or to knowingly permit the emission of objectionable or hazardous odors in such quantities as to be readily detectable to an average observer at any point on the boundary line of any premises or beyond.
   C.   Abandoned Iceboxes And Refrigerators: It shall be unlawful for any person to leave or permit to remain outside of any dwelling, building or other structure, or within any occupied or abandoned building, dwelling, or other structure under his control, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or other container which has an airtight door or lid, snap lock, or other locking device which has not been removed from said icebox, refrigerator or container.
   D.   Building Foundation Or Excavation: It shall constitute a nuisance to allow any building foundation or excavation to remain open and unenclosed for a period in excess of ten (10) days.
   E.   Water Supply: It shall constitute a public nuisance if any building used for residential purposes does not have a clean, potable and adequate supply of running water.
   F.   Performance Standards: The following provisions of the Oak Lawn zoning ordinance of 1985 are incorporated by reference to avoid duplication of entry:
