All approved automatic fire alarm systems installed after July 1, 2009, shall transmit trouble, supervisory, and fire signals directly to the village of Oak Lawn communications center remote receiving station via a wireless radio transmitter installed and maintained in accordance with NFPA 72 and chapter 9 of the international building code, 2003 edition. Only equipment certified and approved by the fire department and/or its designated fire alarm agent may be installed. The designated fire alarm agent shall be the only authorized installer of the wireless radio transmitter required by this section. (Ord. 09-10-24)
