It shall be the duty of the Fire Chief to allow no more persons to enter any place of public assembly than the number of persons certified to by the Director of Office of Quality Control, as per the permitted occupancy loads for buildings as set forth in the BOCA Basic National Building Code/1984 1 and the National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code/1976 2 . The maximum number of persons allowed in any place of public assembly, as per the certification of the Director of the Office of Quality Control as set forth above, shall appear on the license issued for said place of public assembly. Any place of public assembly violating this provision shall be closed until the violation is corrected. (Ords. 77-15-20, 81-12-19; 1985 Code)
