The Fire Chief or his designated subordinate shall examine the plans of all proposed buildings exceeding three (3) stories in height or exceeding ten thousand (10,000) square feet, or of hazardous use, and shall pass on all questions relating to the safety of life and property from fire. No permit for such buildings shall be issued until said plans have been reviewed by the Fire Chief or his designated subordinate. Review shall take place no later than five (5) working days after notification that plans are available. (Ord. 77-15-20)
