(A) (1) Parking of motor vehicles is hereby prohibited along the south side of Ottawa Street running from Locust Street east to Maple Street and no parking on Maple Street from Water Street to Main Street in the village from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays during the school year of the Benton- Carroll-Salem Local School District. No person shall stop, park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, upon the paved or main traveled part of Ottawa Street as enumerated in this division and during the times and hours as prohibited in this division.
(2) Parking of motor vehicles is hereby prohibited along the south side of Walnut Street between Church Street and Locust Street in the village from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year of the Benton- Carroll-Salem Local School District.
(B) Parking or stopping is prohibited on the north and south side of Water Street from the railroad crossing to the end of the corporation limits on State Route 105.
(C) Parking on the south side of West Main Street in front of the library shall be restricted to parking for library purposes only.
(D) No individual shall cause a motor vehicle to be parked in any parking space in excess of two hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, upon the following streets within the business district of the village:
(1) Water Street, from the railroad tracks to Locust Street;
(2) Main Street from the post office drive way to the alley next to the library on the south side;
(3) Church Street from Mill Street to Main Street, except for the pre-existing spaces already designated for 15 minute parking;
(4) Locust Street from Mill Street to the alley by 121 North Locust Street on the west side; and
(5) Locust Street from Mill Street to Main Street on the east side.
(6) Any individual found to be in violation of this division shall be fined the sum of $10, increasing to $25 if not paid within ten days of the notification of the violation.
(E) Whoever violates this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
