§ 74.46 LOAD LIMITS.
   (A)   Definition. As used in this section, the term VEHICLE means everything on wheels or runners, except vehicles operated exclusively on rails or tracks, school buses, and vehicles belonging to the village or to any police department, municipal fire department, volunteer fire department or salvage company organized under the laws of the state or used by such department or company in the discharge of its functions.
   (B)   Routes of travel. The only routes of travel over and across the streets and alleys of this village for a vehicle and/or vehicles having a gross weight, including load, greater than 10,000 pounds are hereby designated to be:
      (1)   The streets and alleys designated by the state for use as state highways; and
      (2)   Park Street, from Locust Street to Benton Street, thence to State Highway 163, provided and on the condition that the gross weight, including load, of any vehicle and/or vehicles operating on this route does not exceed 20,000 pounds.

   (C)   Whoever violates the weight provisions of this section shall be punished as set forth in § 74.45(B).
