§ 50.002 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   POINT OF SERVICE. May be referred to as delivery point. The utility will extend its facilities to the point of attachment designated by the company on the consumer's pole, building, or suitable structure. The attachment may be owned by the utility at its option and is considered the point of service. Metering may or may not be located at the point of service. Meter location will be determined by the utility. Each meter and/or voltage level is the point of service.
   SERVICE VOLTAGE. The normal service voltage is single-phase, 60 hertz, 120/240 volts, 3 wire. At the utility's option, other voltages and/or three-phase service may be made available as specified in § 50.021. All voltages are nominal subject to standard variations.
   OVERHEAD AND UNDERGROUND SERVICE. All service will normally be supplied by means of overhead service facilities. At the utility's option, underground facilities may be furnished in conformance to the utility's standards and charges for such service as hereinafter set forth.
   TEMPORARY SERVICE. All service applications for campers, trailers, portable tools, house or other construction, and the like, shall normally be considered as being temporary in character and shall be subject to the provisions hereafter set forth.
   SUBDIVISION. Where two or more residences, mobile homes, and/or trailers are determined by the utility to be permanent housing facilities located on the same common tract of land, the same shall be defined and constitute as being a subdivision or park and will be served under the utility's current policy.
   SPECIAL CHARGES. The furnishing of reconnection, disconnection, temporary and other special services shall be subject to the schedule of charges set forth in § 50.072.
