(A) The following are exempt from obtaining a major or minor special event permit:
(1) The City of Oak Forest.
(2) Educational institutions approved or authorized by the State of Illinois.
(3) Regularly scheduled and coordinated sporting events conducted by not-for-profit organizations designed for youth activities.
(B) Notwithstanding the exemptions set forth in this chapter, issuance of other permits or licenses may be required depending on the nature of the event, including but not limited to: amplifier permits, tent permits, carnival/carnival ride permits, firework permits, bonfire permits, generator permits, and liquor licenses.
