(A) Definition. For purposes of this subchapter the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FIRE APPARATUS ACCESS ROAD. Road that provides fire apparatus access from a fire station to a facility, building or portion thereof. This is a general term inclusive of all other terms such as fire lane, public street, private street, parking lot lane and access roadway.
(B) Fire apparatus access roads, in accordance with the 2018 International Fire Code, Chapter 5, Section 503 and clearly marked as NO PARKING - FIRE LANE as required in Section 503.3, are established as listed in the Fire Lane Schedule set forth in § 94.02.
