§ 90.025 WAIVER; PAYMENT TO CITY IN LIEU OF SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   Whenever, in the opinion of the city, the installation of a public sidewalk would serve no public purpose, that requirement may be waived.
   (B)   If it is determined that the installation of a public sidewalk is unnecessary, the owner shall, in lieu thereof, pay over to the city an amount of money, which shall be equal to the current cost of construction of the sidewalk based on the city’s most recent per lineal foot cost of sidewalk installation times the lineal width of the subject lot.
