(A) There is adopted by and for the city, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing construction and material specifications for streets and other public ways in the city, that certain document known as Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, the most current edition, prepared and promulgated by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), or any successor edition of the aforementioned publication.
(B) At least three copies of that document are on file with the City Clerk for inspection by the public.
