§ 72.02 VEHICLE WEIGHT LIMIT.
   (A)   No person shall drive a vehicle over any street in the city, other than a state route, where the gross weight of the vehicle is in excess of 10,000 pounds. On state routes, the weight limits established by state law shall govern.
   (B)   An application may be made in certain cases to the City Clerk for permission to drive a vehicle whose gross weight exceeds 10,000 pounds over designated streets in the city.
   (C)   The permission provided for in division (B) above shall be granted only if the applicant deposits with the City Clerk a bond in the sum of $5,000, payable to the city, to pay for any damage caused by the vehicle while driving over any city street, bridge or culvert.
   (D)   This section shall not apply to any street in the city unless a notice of the weight limit established in this chapter is posted thereon.
