§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provisions of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   In general. Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Traffic Code, for which no penalty is otherwise provided in the following schedule of fines or elsewhere in this Traffic Code, is guilty of a petty offense for a first and second offense and upon conviction shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $500; for a third or subsequent conviction within one year after the first conviction, that person is guilty of a Class C misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $500 or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both. Each occurrence during or at which time a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
