§ 53.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ELECTRIC UTILITY COMPANY. Any person or entity engaged in the business of distributing, transmitting, or otherwise delivering electricity, regardless of its source, for use or consumption within the city. The term shall not include any person or entity who delivers electricity to fewer than 50 persons within the city.
   EMERGENCY ENERGY PLAN. A planned course of action developed by an electric utility company to be implemented when the demand for electricity exceeds, or is at significant risk of exceeding, the supply.
