§ 33.182 CHARGE FOR DWELLING UNITS; FIRE PROTECTION FUND.
   (A)   As used in this section, DWELLING UNIT means a single unit providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation. DWELLING UNIT expressly includes any residential unit and a unit of a multifamily dwelling.
   (B)   Any person constructing a dwelling unit within the city shall be charged at the rate of $100 for each dwelling unit to be constructed. The payment shall be made prior to the issuance of a building permit.
   (C)   All moneys received shall be held in a separate fund to be known as the fire protection fund and shall be earmarked and expended for a fire protection program.
