§ 33.181 RETURNED CHECKS FEE.
   (A)   If any check is issued to the city and is later returned to the city from a bank or other financial institution and marked “nonsufficient funds,” “NSF” or the like, the drawer of the check shall be charged an additional administrative fee of $25.
   (B)   If a check is returned to the city from a bank or other financial institution, the city may, at its option, either redeposit the check and bill the drawer thereof $10 by mail, or notify the drawer by mail that the $10 charge and the amount of the original check are payable to the city, in cash, within five business days.
