(A) (1) Youthful damage counselors will be trained in youthful fire damage awareness programs approved by the office of the State Fire Marshal.
(2) The counselor will direct the avenues in which assistance is indicated, cooperate with the juvenile court system and refer target individuals to appropriate health professionals and/or local agencies.
(B) The counselors shall suggest the need for individuals to secure professional help.
(C) The program shall be staffed by volunteer fire awareness counselors.
