Permits issued for small wireless facilities pursuant to this subchapter shall be for a period of five years. Permits shall be renewed at the end of the five-year permit period for a successive five- year term so long as the installation complies with the applicable code provisions in force at the time of renewal. A finding by the city at the time of a request for renewal that an installation does not comply with the applicable Code provisions in force at the time of the renewal request shall be in writing. If the Act is repealed as provided in Section 90 of the SEFDA, renewals of permits shall be subject to the applicable City Code provisions or regulations in effect at the time of the renewal.
