§ 111.57 CESSATION OF BUSINESS.
   (A)   Any licensee who ceases to do business or closes his or her place of business for a period of more than 30 successive days shall be subject to having his or her license declared forfeited and lapsed by order of the Liquor Control Commissioner.
   (B)   Provided, however, if any licensee wishes to close for repairs or remodeling, the licensee shall so notify the Liquor Control Commissioner, and indicate the work to be done and the construction schedule for the work. The licensee shall also request from the Liquor Control Commissioner approval to cease doing business for such purpose, and, if approved, the Liquor Control Commissioner will indicate the period of time for which the temporary cessation has been approved in the order permitting such temporary cessation of business.
   (C)   If, due to no fault of the licensee, the remodeling or repairs continue for a longer period of time than originally approved, the licensee shall so notify the Liquor Control Commissioner and the order of the Liquor Control Commissioner shall then be revised accordingly if the Local Liquor Commissioner agrees to such extension of time. Such revised order shall indicate a new date for completion of all work.
   (D)   However, no such business shall be allowed to cease doing business for such remodeling or repairs for a period in excess of one year unless and until an extension has been granted in writing by the Local Liquor Commissioner.
   (E)   There shall be no reduction or proration of the license fee for any period of time during remodeling.
