The purpose of this subchapter is to ensure that all foods served in the city are served in a safe and healthful manner. This subchapter and the regulations set forth in this subchapter promulgated pursuant thereto represent good food service practices and it is the intent of this subchapter to require that all food be served accordingly. However, it is expressly intended that this subchapter shall not be applicable to the service of food during a religious or organizational ritual or the reenactment thereof.
