§ 92.07 INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF ALARM DEVICES.
   (A)   For the purposes of enforcing the provisions of this chapter, the Police Chief, Fire Chief or designee, shall have the authority to enter any premises in the city in or upon which any alarm system subject to this chapter is located, to inspect the installation and/or operation of such alarm system. If such inspection reveals any violation of the provisions of this chapter or if in the opinion of the inspecting officer that the alarm is detrimental to the safety of the user, a written report detailing such violation shall be promptly sent to the Police or Fire Chief. If the Police or Fire Chief agrees with the written report, the owner, lessee or other person responsible for the alarm system in violation will be notified. Such notification shall require that corrections be made within five days after date of notice of the violation.
Failure to comply shall result in the disconnection of the alarm at the location of the violation, revocation of alarm user permit, and other penalty as provided in this chapter.
   (B)   Each alarm user shall employ the services of an alarm equipment supplier which has licensed employees and supplies and equipment so located as to be able to respond to a request for repair or adjustment of the alarm system.
