No person shall engage in, carry on or conduct the business of being an alarm equipment supplier, as hereinabove defined, within the city, unless he or she is licensed to do so by the state pursuant ILCS Ch. 225, Act 447, Art. 10, Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004.
