(A) All commercial buildings and multi-family dwelling structures are required to have a functional, properly maintained and monitored fire alarm system.
(B) All required fire alarm systems and automatic fire detection systems shall be supervised by a central station, proprietary station or remote station in accordance with NFPA 72.
(C) In the event the building is vacant, the owner is responsible and required to have a fire alarm device system as defined in this code.
