§ 95.54 WILD ANIMALS.
   (A)   The city provides animal control services for wild animals on public and private property if the animal is sick or injured or poses a threat to human safety.
   (B)   Removal of wild animals that do not pose an immediate threat must be done by a State of Illinois licensed private wildlife removal service.
   (C)   No person on public or private property shall attract or feed wild and/or stray domestic animals, including but not limited to stray cats, stray dogs, seagulls, geese, skunks, raccoons, squirrels or deer within the city limits. Nothing contained herein shall prohibit persons from feeding birds on their private property using bird feeders or other receptacles. This section shall not apply to an Animal Control Officer in the performance of his or her official duties or to state and/or federal wildlife officials in the performance of their official duties.
