§ 32.376 APPOINTMENT; TERMS OF OFFICE.
   (A)   The members and the chairperson of the Youth Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council. Five youth, ages 13 to 19 years, shall serve for two years, and five youths, ages 13 to 19 years, shall serve for one year. Four adults shall be appointed and shall serve for two years, and all appointments and appointments to fill vacancies shall be made in like manner as in the case of the initial commissioners. A commissioner having been duly appointed shall continue to serve after the expiration of his or her term until his or her successor has been appointed. All terms shall expire on April 30 in the final year of the member’s term.
   (B)   If a vacancy occurs in the Youth Commission, it shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council, upon recommendation of the chairperson of the Youth Commission, for the unexpired term of the Youth Commission seat vacated.
